	Most manufacturing companies can create positive ROI based on successful implementation of automation, vision inspection and data acquisition. RAF offers training to our current and future customers to help ensure that their projects achieve a positive ROI. Please contact a RAF representative for a current training schedule. Specialized classes can be created to solve a customer's needs.

Vision Training Class		Back to Top
	Half-day introduction to vision hardware and software. Upon completion of the class, the attendee will be able to: Identify viable vision applications Understand hardware solutions Apply software tools This is a hands on class where the students go through a series of exercises designed to aid in their understanding of the vision software.

Robot Training Class		Back to Top
	Half-day introduction to 4 robot styles: single axis, cartesian, SCARA, and articulating (six axis) robots. The attendee will learn: How to choose the best robot for an application How to size the application The basics of programming and interfacing with the various robots

PLC Training Class		Back to Top
	Half-day introduction to the hardware and software of Mitsubishi PLCs. This is a hands on class where the students go through a series of exercises designed to familiarize them with the Mitsubishi PLC platform.


DESIGN & SIMULATION TOOLS


Servo Application Sizing		Back to Top
	Using software packages and our knowledge, we can determine which Servo manufacturer will provide the best solution to an application. RAF can engineer a packaged solution where the motor and mechanical slide are shipped assembled.

Maytec Structure Design		Back to Top
	RAF can create three-dimensional models with complete bill of materials for Maytec structures. We use a Pro/Engineer workstation to design a customer's order. The system can be shipped either fully assembled or as a package for the customer to assemble.

Festo Fluid Draw		Back to Top
	Fluid Draw allows us to create pneumatic circuit diagrams and generate parts lists quickly. The circuit diagrams can then be imported into a CAD system.

Robot Simulation Software		Back to Top
	Using our robot simulation software, RAF can eliminate questions and concerns about a robotic application. When simulation is not enough, our robot lab allows us to use customer tooling to demonstrate the application
